I have MORE than enough projects that I 've joined to make and complete then WHY did I open the big plastic container under my sewing table???
I know it contains many things that need finishing. One of them being the thong swap our group did last year or was it the year before? My dear friend Sue organised it and we had fun making the thong blocks.
There were 12 ladies in the swap. Each of us needed to make 12 identical sets of thongs and when completed after a set time we swapped with each lady and got 12 different ones. I am still waiting for no 12 but never mind guess I will have to make it. Here are some of my ideas of how to put them together.
Those are absolutely adorable! I love the idea of using the flip flop fabric for sasking. The black does help to tie everything together. I love using the blacks in my wild quilts.
ReplyDeleteA friend pointed me to your blog cause I have a thing for flip-flop fabrics. I love your quilt top especially with the black fabric. I'd be happy to make you one more block to finish out your quilt. What size is the block?
ReplyDeleteThose blocks are great. I agree the black fabric finishes it off well.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks will look great with the black thong fabric as sashing. It is such a shame the last person never followed through with her blocks. What a fabulous offer from Teresa to make you #12 block. We meet such gorgeous people in Blogland.
ReplyDeleteI think the black looks best! It brings out the flip flops more...It's going to look fabulous once finished!! Come over and enter my 100th post giveaway if you have the chance! It closes on the 10th Oct!
