As it's July 31st it's time to post my finishes for OPAM for the lovely Peg and wonderful Kris who keep me on track to make sure I finish at least one project each month. Thank you ladies.

This month I worked on lots of projects but only managed to finish "The Pineapple " quilt.

I quilted it in the ditch and shadow quilted the sashing. Spent the weekend doing the last of the of it in time to post.

I also got 10 shields for Days for Girls" done.

and that's all I have finished this month but I'm working on many different things at once. Maybe I should work on just one ???????

Sunday at Retreat and Joining " Bee Social"

After our Festive dinner Saturday night we had another special celebration on Sunday.  One of our lovely Patch ladies had a "0" birthday  sew we helped her by singing 'Happy Birthday" and sharing a beautiful birthday cake.

Afterwards I waddled over to my sewing ( I was sew full after a lovely luncheon and then Birthday cake) and worked on doing these colourful blocks for a quilt designed by Allison from Cluck Cluck Sew

and later after packing up my machine I sat and cut some of the Aussie Animals from Toni's  "Down Under Quilt" before it was time to pack and go home.

Mother Kanga and Joey...

and my "Tassie Devil"

Love all Toni 's designs and I'm getting these ready to work on at our Annual Retreat at Toodyay at the end of August.

I read about joining Lorna for "Bee Social" and decided it would bee fun to met some new blogging friends.

Must away to make a Milo and do a little stitching on my "Angel." before bed.

Happy Stitching,

Catching up

Been meaning to sit down and post since Sunday and now it's Thursday again....

We had a beautiful sunny days over the weekend sew I worked on "The Block" but in the evenings it got very cold sew perfect to sit in the Cave and sew.

Before starting I needed my ruler but couldn't find it anywhere.....

Can you see it ?????

I am pleased to have finally worked on My Small World and managed to do pages  7- 11.

Then thought I'd get back to doing some more with "On Ringo Lake" but gave up when I had to do some reverse stitching....

On Monday I joined the Ladies at "Patch" and cut and glued some Hexies for one of the rainbows for MSW...

My GD2 gave me the sweet little tin " She said "Oma might like it for her Hexies " I think it's perfect.

Oh must away as I'm off to Geraldton this morning, may look at the fabric store  (:

FnwFs for July...

Thanks Cheryll for organising our FnwFs again this month. I always enjoy the evening sewing along with my virtual friends...
I got an early start and managed to get "Libby" the Liberian done

Another sweet Angel from "An Angels Story" by Hatched and Patched.

This morning I went to brekky with my bobbing friends as it was one of the lady's birthday.. it's lovely to catch up and chat as we don't see each other often through the cooler time of the year when we don't swim.

The place mats I made HERE was a nice gift.

When I got home it was time to change into some older clothes and go out on The Block to do some raking and pick up the branches that were cut yesterday.

Now I'm showered , having a cuppa while I post and then into the Cave to join my Northern Hemisphere friends to sew for their FnwFs..

Hmmm! what will I work on, I have sew many projects on the go !!!!!!

Sew good to have two nights of sewing.. Will enjoy seeing what everyone got up over the next few days over at Cheryll's place

Happy Stitching,
