OPAM

Another month has passed sew it's time to post my finishes for OPAM with thanks to Peg and Kris for kindly keeping us on track.

I was pleased to have finished another "Super Hero" quilt

I used some nice polar fleece for backing to make it cosy for the cold winter in Victoria.

and another for a lady ..

It was lovely to send four quilts along to Jan for the Peter Mac Cancer Hospital.

and I did get my UFO place mats finished

but the Pineapples are still being quilted. Hope to have it done for next month.

I'm off to make a cuppa and then sit and stitch an Angel. What are you working on??

UFOs

This morning I decided to tidy and dust the shelves in The Cave...   of course I had to check out what was in the boxes ....

I found several UFOs and started playing with the Scrappy Pinwheels.....

But before I got carried away it was popped back into the box and I finished cleaning up .

Before starting anything else I MUST finish these UFOs that have been hanging on the back of my chair for months...

Time to do a bit of hand stitching before going to bed. . Tomorrow the Pineapple blocks and place mats......

Toni's  lastest Aussie design from  RedBootQuiltCompany .

Love all Toni's designs sew
I can't wait to start it...

and when I went to collect my mail this was also in the post.

It's Michelle and Fiona's  fault (  lol ) I ordered this book as I watched them both stitching these cute "Angels" sew just had to make them too......

Also this morning I attended our Monthly Meeting for " Days for Girls"  and I was given 100 shields to sew.... Lucky my friend Lois helps me get these made.

Thankfully Wendy  has orgainsed us for FNSI this week sew I can make a start on the shields and maybe decide on a new project  because I have nothing else to do...  Hahahahah!!!!

don't forget to pop over to Wendy's to sign up for a great night of sewing.

FnwFs

It's always good to have an evening sewing along with Cheryll  and friends. Thanks Cheryll for always getting us organised.  I had an early start to FnwFs working on

                                                        My Small World Blocks

and making this cute "Hedgehog" as a leader and enders project with the blocks.

It's been such a long time since I worked on " Fancy Forest" by Elizabeth Hartman.

and I also had a few Super Hero blocks started and it was still early sew I made some more to complete enough for a flimsy.

I had planned to go out and work on ' The Block' today but it's been drizzling  sew decided to sandwich and pin the Super Hero quilt . Hope to get it quilted over the weekend and pop it in the post for Jan Mac . Jan does such a great job distributing quilts to many folk who need a hug...

My friend Lois dropped of some shields to be finished off for Days for Girls and I also got them done.......

Not the best photo. sorry.

Now it's time to organise something for dinner . Will pop over to visit others HERE over the week.
