FNSI for October

As it’s the third Friday of the month we all know that it’s sewing night even though our dear Wendy has been very busy and didn’t have time to put up a link…. 

First I work on my long term EPP project La Passacaglia, 

Then I joined some more blocks of my “All Stacked Up”

I’m making this quilt for my eldest Great Granddaughter who is off to boarding school next year….where have the years gone??? 

Must away now and get organised for our Patch groups Friendship Day tomorrow.

Just looking for

the right fabric for the project I'm working and then this happened.

  

so after a few hours of sorting the fabrics into colours and then filling the scrap box to the top I finally DID find a fabric I could use for the next block for my new project...

The green ,what do you think??

Must away now and may even go to bed early for a change..

FnwFs for October

I always enjoy sewing along with Cheryll and friends for our Friday Night of Sewing. It's just nice to know there is someone doing the same as me and then during the week checking out what we've done. 

I got an early start and managed to work on finishing Frivols Churn Dash. 

This little tin had sat in my cupboard for a few years so it's great to finally have the quilt completed.. 

then on to my Aussie Hero Blocks for this month.

as it was still only 9.30pm thought I would do a fun project before calling it a night.

I had seen this cute Pumpkin Mug Mat on a friends Instagram post so found some orange strips and put it together. 

Got ready to sandwich and quilt before calling it a night.

Must away now so I can finish the Pumpkin...

FnwFs sign up......

I can't seem to settle on one project right now, as you can see from the Cave,  it's the perfect time to sign up with Cheryll and work on some of the projects . 

It would be great if you could sign up to join Cheryll and others for FnwFs HERE too.

Now I must away and tidy the "Cave" ready to get an early start tomorrow.

September OPAM..

Well the weeks have flown by again and it's time to post our finishes for OPAM with Kris.. 

First finish was the little Hexie pouch.
