Catching Up

With what I've been doing the last few weeks. We went to visit our DD and family in The Big Smoke. While there Lacy and I enjoy going for walks with my DD her dog Gigi ,

We visited the "Sculpture's by the Sea"

There are always so many interesting ones to see.

Here are two of my favorites....

Managed to do some sewing on my " La Passacaglia"

On my return home I sorted out the Cave and in the evenings, I've been doing some stitching on my cross stitch.

I've also caught up with the Sewcalites 2 from the Fat Quarter Shop

and also appliqueing more blocks Red Boot Quilting Company

Pleased to have found the perfect cosy flannelette fabric for the backing of "Who's at the Zoo"

I think I've caught up so now
must away to bring in the washing.

Happy Stitching

FNSI for March

After a week in the Big Smoke and arriving home at 5.30pm Friday I was able to still join in for Wendy's FNSI .
But I only managed to do some tracing, ironing and cutting of The Hog designed by Toni Alexander from Red Boot Quilting Company's  for "Who's at the Zoo" before calling it quits.
Thank you  Wendy for once again organising us ..

Then on Saturday afternoon I put together the Aussie Hero  Blocks for March ready to pop in the post.

Must away now and catch up on some blog reading. ...

Happy Stitching

FnwFs for March.

The first Friday of the month came round so quick again and it's time to join Cheryll for FnwFs...
As I drove to the big smoke for a fun retreat,
I didn't get a lot of sewing done but got a start on Toni Alexander's Red Boot Company " Who's at the Zoo" blocks...

The Meerkats and the one Keeper

Hope to visit others who joined in over the weekend HERE . Thanks Cheryll.

Must away quickly as it's time to go to lunch.

Happy Stitching.

Hugs  Maria ❤
