FNSI for June

As we had another power outage I joined Wendy for FNSI in the afternoon and cut and glued pieces for both La Passaglia and my Laundry Basket applique.

 Then I sewed on the vine and some leaves on the quilt.....

I'm finding this very slow going. I've finished one side and am now working on the second. Two more to go!!!

After the power was restored I enjoyed doing some quilting on "Who's at the Zoo"

A huge thank you to Wendy for organising us even though she's been busy caring for her MIL.

What's

kept me busy lately.....  

So good to have quilted the "Speedy Racers"

Slow stitching completeing another La Passcagalia block...

Prepping more leaves for the Laundry Basket quilt.

Sewing lables on some quilts....

Sewing the blue borders on the RSC "I Spy" block.

and made the 3 1/2" X 5 1/2" RSC blocks.

Must away now and bring in the washing.

FnwFs for June.

May has been a long month, nursing hubby after his surgery and then he got Covid testing positive for 12 days and now I have Covid .So being in isolation it was lovely to join Cheryll for FnwFs....

Made an early start by Frakenbatting for bowl cosies

 

I was surprised how long it took to make these four cosies which will be gifted ..

then I sorted through my box of kids fabric to find some light blues for this month RSC 

found enough to make the center of the " I Spy " block but not any for the plain border.... 

guess it means a trip to Geraldton when I finally test negative. 

In the evening I did some hand sewing on the La Passacaglia and finish this block
