Last OPAM for 2014 and A Happy New Year!!

A big thank you to Kris and Peg for running OPAM for 2014. They do keep me on track. I managed to have 51 finishes, way down on previous years but I am happy with what I achieved with life getting in the way at times..
I can now reveal some of my secret sewing….

Fabulous Gifts for the SSCS

I was sew happy to have joined Chooky’s SSCS
again this year and couldn't wait for Christmas morning to be able to open the gifts from my SSCS partner Loulee from NZ.



Loulee spoilt me by sending not two gifts , but six…..

FNSI

It was sew nice to join Wendy and my other blogging friends for the last FNSI for the year…

firstly I cut and organised these " Hash tag Blocks" 



which I will be sending to Molli Sparlkes for the Sydney Heros. You can read about it HERE….

When I take Lacy for walkies on the beach she blends in with the sand and seaweed. Sew my DD made her a Hi Vis Jacket from her Hubby’s overalls.. The clip wouldn't undo when it had sand in it sew last night I replaced it with some Velcro.



That's better Lacy !!!!!

I have always wanted to have some Christmas Place Mats sew last night I put six together and managed to do the binding on two.



will join my Northern Hemisphere folk tonight and finish the other four…

YEH!!! ( lots of photos )

It’s December 18th sew we can open our “Santa Sack “ gifts….I am up early and opening it before I even have brekky..



Keryn was my partner and sent me this gorgeous box filled with gifts….




I couldn’t wait to see what was inside all the beautifully wrapped parcels….



The first one held a lovely “Christmas Angel”







and next was this amazing Christmas Tote..






“Santa” on one side and “ A Snowman” on the other. Just look at the fabulous buttons and embellishment.




the dotty one held a great “Christmas Panel”..



will be fun to make that up…

this wee box and had everything inside to make three projects…




Pattern and Fabrics



as well as thread, buttons, bells and beautiful brooches.
I have never seen anything like it before ! More fun to make.



and the next big parcel held this amazing



                                                         “Quilt”… 
Look at the work Keryn has put into making it.. Will get a better photo when I can hang it up outside..

Love this little Christmas Message on this plaque. I can hang at my back door…



now the box is empty except the beautiful card from Keryn
