One Flower Wednesday and The Weekend Away

Yes !! made it. I have just finished stitching my Flower for this week.

I had a lovely long weekend in Perth with my DD2 and GC.

We spent many hours in the craft room.

Went shopping and out for lunch.

Saturday evening DD2 ran a beautiful bath for me

and cooked a lovely dinner. Then some more stitching.

I took home my share of a roll of wadding and look who also came home with me.

Her name is “Lacy” and she is our new puppy.

  2. I was going to comment on your cute flower, and you in the bathtub, but that all almost flew out of my head when I saw Lacy!! That is the cutest piece of lace I've ever seen.... Were you planning on a puppy, or did it "just happen"? Have fun with puppy kisses.

  11. Oh Maria. Lacy is so so cute! Wish I could give her a hug. We're on the look out for a red heeler pup to give Ginger a new lease on life (well that's the plan anyway). Hopefully she can help train the puppy although not teach it her bad habits!

  24. Maria, it looks as though you had a very lovely trip visiting with your daughter and grandkids. And don't you look cute in the bath...I just love to have a nice soak like that...so relaxing!

  30. Oh my gosh!! That is the cutest little doggie - look at that little face!!! Perfect name for her. Happy Belated Birthday. I think it was very thoughtful of your dd to give you scissors - isn't it cool to have children that know you so well?

  32. lacy is so adorable...sorry I called her lucy in my first comment! I dont have my glasses on as usual. I am getting interested in those hexagon blocks. I am pretty sure I could make one a week, I am going to see how to make them.
