My Day!! 5/11/11

It was my special day today and I had some parcels to open when I got up this morning. From family and friends.

My dear friend Pat gives me a beautiful diary every year. I keep it next to my computer to use each day.

Beautiful FQ’s from Deb in NZ from our Birthday swap.

008  Love the card. Wonder how Lacy would get on with him. LOL.

After a cuppa it was off to swimming with the ladies.

Afterwards we all went for brekkie at my favourite spot in town.

Oh yes pancakes and fresh fruit with ice cream and syrup drizzled over it. Yummmmmmm!!!!!!   

I was so spoilt. Look at the gifts I was given.

My friend Sue gave me this puzzle. 1000 pieces and it is only 30cm X 42cm. I think she wants to drive me crazy trying to put it together but if I never make it the tin is very nice.

This afternoon Louise come to visit and brought along some cupcakes with candles. As it she had had her birthday on Thursday we sang “Happy Birthday” to each other. Then had a cuppa and cake.

Thank you to all my family and friends for the lovely gifts ,cards phone calls and e-mails. I had a great day.

    Happy Birthday! I feel terrible that I didn't know. What a wonderful bunch of pressies that you received. And a nice breakfast, and time with friends and family. Doesn't get any better than that.

    I know some of the English bloggers have a birthday swap but only within England . . . I've thought about starting one within ANZAC ::))

    What a wonderful day for such a wonderful gal! I just kept ooooing and aaaing! I Loved all of your gifts(what wonderful choices -) and the fact that you went swimming with your gals and then what a fascinating breakfast!

    Your pictures are so beautiful! They really carry me away !!!!!!!!!! I just keep ooooooing and aaaaaaing! Bravo! To Friendships and those we love!( I can't help being a wee bit jealous seeing you in the water and me here shivering at 35degrees sitting over the heat vent! : )
