FnwFs...

Yesterday I got an early start for FnwFs with Cheryll and friends...

First I got the binding onto two boys quilts a well as labels

Both quilts have great backings sew can be used either ways...

they are now flying over to Jan Mac of Oz Comfort Quilts  for the Bushfire Appeal.

(took the photos then packed them up and posted sew didn't realise the photos weren't clear....)

A Car Layered cake and bundle of Minion FQs out of my stash ..

after taking Hubby to his RSL and going to the Post Office I returned and cut out my TEAL Sisters for this month's RSC and sewed them.....

then it was onto quilting the "Sunday Stitchers challenge."   No  1  Jelly Roll Waves

until grrrrr!!!!

empty bobbin..... sew folded and put the quilt aside...

After filling a few bobbins worked on my leader and ender project .....

and put together a block  for "Flip Flop Scraps

and cut out some more squares

Before going to bed I downloaded the next two blocks for Toni's  Paper Dolls

Thank you Cheryll for another great FnwFs  and I'll enjoying visiting others HERE over the next few days....

Must away now and find fabrics for the Paper Dolls...

Happy stitching and stay safe,

Hugs  Maria ❤

  3. So kind of you to react immediately to Jan Mac's appeal for quilts for boys for the Oz Comfort quilts. Your teal sisters are very pretty!

  4. Ahh--the sister's--your's look so delightful and I think they are wanting to go out for tea and cakes!! I have 2 teals I am thinking about for my sister's this month--not sure on the 3rd one yet?? And I got my teal pieces cut --for the 9 patches and the star blocks--though I do need to cut some 3" blocks for the star ones in the teal--already have my white squares all cut--work work work--but it's always pleasurable work!
    luv, di

  17. Wow! You got a lot done. Love your boy quilts and they're perfect. It seems like we quilters tend to forget about the boys when making quilts. They need snuggles too, of course. I did a bit of cross-stitch for FNwF but forgot to post. Oh well, my Friday was still fun and I enjoyed reading about your endeavors!
