FNSI for June

I always enjoy my FNSI with the lovely Wendy and friends for a virtual night of sewing....

Before I could get into the "Cave"  Charlie badly needed a wash . As we've had little rain and the water tanks have been low we didn't waste water just to wash our cars weeks but we've had some nice rainfall I could finally wash my car......

Once I'd cleaned up after dinner I had a great time in my favorite space..

First I got out the box with my No 7 Challenge for Sunday Stitchers   "Jelly Roll Beach Ball" Baby Quilt.....

While sewing the strips together I used the "Happy Birthday" bunting as a leader and ender project too....

After doing a few blocks I decided

to start some quilting on  My BlooMs , just doing some ditching first...
was really happy with the backing I was able to buy at the local Craft Shop..

As it was getting late I made a cuppa to relax and do some beanie knitting before bed...

Thanks heaps Wendy for another great night of sewing and some knitting ..

Today I went to a workshop on how to make Beeswax Wraps so

I must away and cut out some squares to make more, will post later...

Happy Stitching

Hugs  Maria 😊

  4. I bet 'charley' feels better now that he is all clean and shiny again--he was probably wondering if you still loved him as much as when he was brought home to live with you!!!!!
All your projects look look like they are coming right along nicely--keep it going!!!

  5. You got a lot done! I'm busy with gardening and yard work so at the end of the day I just want to put my feet up but I want to get back to sewing and quilting. The little banners are so cute..is that part of the quilt? The one you are 'quilting' is darling! So cute and I love the bright happy colors...gorgeous! I'm a knitter too and again your color scheme is so pretty. My grands would love hats like that.
I need to get busy...you put me to shame! LOL!

  14. What a lovely varied evening you had and your projects are all looking great. I have some beeswax left from when we used to keep bees so I would love to know how to make the wraps - they are quite expensive to buy! xx

  17. I'm so jealous that you've got your BLOOM blocks done and are quilting away on the top. I shouldn't be jealous -- you've been busier on this project than I've been. Must get it picked up again! Thanks for the inspiration!
