Thursday DD, a friend and I hopped on a train, which was full of like minded folk all going to the show.
I am always in awe of all the talented ladies who make these amazing quilts...
Just took photos of a few......
this one has tiny 1/4" hexies which were fussy cut....
some Aussie Themed ones I liked
Fun ones
we had a great time catching up with friends enjoying a lovely lunch chatting and checking out all the stalls . These were my only purchases.
The little blue things go around a bobbin ,
wonder how long I'll use them for ????
Must away as the washing machine is calling...
Happy Stitching
Hugs Maria 😄
It looks like a wonderful time being inspired.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts. You were very restrained with the shopping Maria! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the photos of the quilts. It is always nice to see what's happening in other corners of the quilt world. I really like the second one with the groovy 50s vibe. I haven't seen anything quite like it before.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing all the lovelies Maria. Beautiful quilts. Boy those hexies are tiny....I chicken out at 3/8 inch lol! Sounds like you enjoyed yourself.

ReplyDeleteAmazing quilts! The little bobbin things sound useful, I hate it when the thread unwinds.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was a great show. Please let us know how you like those bobbin thingies.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful quilts! I'm looking forward to attending a quilt show on Friday!! I know I'll spend more money than you did.
ReplyDeleteLove the monsters quilt. I bought some of those blue things - good idea - but I couldn't then see what colour thread was on each bobbin...
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great show - the quilts you have shown are gorgeous! I have 3 or 4 of those little bobbin things and still use them lots - especially for the fine thread that I don't use so often - I'm sure you'll find them useful!
