Mystery Christmas Workshop... ( Lots of Photos)

For weeks all the ladies in our Patch Club have been waiting to do the Mystery Christmas workshop that the lovely Janine was doing for us....

After arriving and getting settled at our machines Janine handed out our kits, all cut and ready to sew but no pattern YET..  Sorry didn't get a photo as I was just too excited...

Inside were 13- 2/12" fabric strips , wadding and binding

Here Janine is showing us how to sew them together....

You can see we are all keen and are busy sewing..

when all the strips were sewn

it was time to sew them into pairs

and then put the last one on
more joining

 all done

Finally we were given the templates and our Mystery was revealed.    Fabric Christmas Trees.....

Then we sewed the binding on

and hand stitched them together , before doing the final seam we popped in the fairy lights. Not an easy task ...

I made the tiny one out of scraps, wasn't in the pattern sew it doesn't have lights.......

I really love my fabric Christmas Trees and it was just the best day... Thanks heaps to Janine....

Happy Stitching

Hugz  Maria :)
