FnwFs and Sewing Along

Thursday evening after tiding the Cave and making a list I had planned on a fabulous weekend of sewing along for Cheryll's FnwFs and also join in the fun with Chooky for the  5th  "Chook Shed Party." over the weekend.  Big thanks to both ladies ...

Plenty to work on.........

All started well last night by Joining the Splendid Sampler blocks....

Boy they are taking longer than I thought sew

decided to have a break and cut out my "Aussie Hero" blocks

and the binding strips for my next "Fernhill" block

By then it was after Midnight and off to bed .... Was up at 7am and after Brekky back into the Cave and still haven't completed sewing those SS blocks together....

Time now to get dressed and pop down to the shop... Then back for more stitching.....

Will enjoy seeing what all worked on for FnwFs over the weekend..

Happy Stitching ..
Hugz  Maria :)

  2. I like the shadow affect that you are giving the blocks. The time spent will be worth it in the end.

  8. Busy girl! I forgot that you had done the Splendid Sampler. Rather than sewing today, I went to a little quilt show. I spent more than I should have, but didn't get too crazy. Must start sewing soon.
