Embroidery, Pelican and FNSI.

Last weekend I attended an Embroidery Workshop.. I can't believe how little we seam to have done but how much we did learn...

Here is what I achieved over the two days....

I'm glad that there are called "Wonky Houses" as they surely are...LOL.

On Tuesday as I drove past our swimming hole I saw this lonely fella sitting on the rail at the end of the boardwalk... Thought I'd get some photos for my friend Sunny.

He let me get up really close to him

You can see the ocean in the distance were we swim when it's warmer..

Up Up and Away...

I hope he;s off to find some of his friends as he's been here on his own for awhile now...

As it is the third Friday of the month tomorrow night don't forget to sign up for FNSI with the lovely Wendy for a fun night of sewing with our online friends.. You can pop over HERE to join in...

Time to do some stitching...

Hugz  Maria :)

  3. Your wonky houses are so cute. It is amazing when you are learning something that you actually don't accomplish much. I think it is because you are concentrating on perfection and not on "getting this project done". :) I didn't realize that you don't always swim in the ocean. Is the pond salt water?
