  1. Lacy is adorable in her new coat! And your little hexies are very pretty. But your village: Wowsa! If I counted right, that's 88 little tiny houses, each one unique. Fantastic job, Maria! How long have the builders beenunder contract??

  2. Lacy looks quite happy with her new coat! Your village is wonderful. so, you said roadwork, I think your borders should resemble a road, maybe with a dashed line down the center? just a thought....

Your sweet little hexies are so cute and your village - wow - well done!!! (inspiring - I must get back to mine!); I'm with Ellyn, maybe borders could include something 'in the theme'...
Lacy is looks sweet in her jacket - our weather is behaving a little like that too - beautiful one day and cold the next.

  9. All those tiny houses look so good. Maybe a border as wide as the house all around in a plain dark fabric. You don't want to draw the eye away from the houses. Lacy looks so cute in her coat. What a lovely mummy you are.

perhaps a small border the same as the sashings then a wider one to finish?

  19. The houses look fabulous. Unless you want it bigger just continue the dark border all the way around and then use something bright and happy for binding.
Love Lacy's cute coat, now she's ready for the next cool day.

  22. Wowee from me too, on your stunning village. Liking the suggestions for borders- my thought was maybe garden around it, simple version just green/s, or if you are up to lots more work (hahaha) throw on some flowers and trees. I won't be offended if you scream "NO way!!!" lol
Lovely jacket, isn't always the way with weather :)

  24. Just adore your village.. I agree with others that a border will be great... need to 'audition' some fabrics to see what you would like best..
Lacy is very smart - she must be looking forward to some more cold weather so she can show off...
