OFW, Houses and a Coat…

This week I didn’t make a flower but some 1/2” hexies for a secret project I am working…

Pleased to say the builder has been back on site and the village is now complete……



It still needs some more roadwork ( borders) I think.. not sure how to finish it. Any ideas ???????

the weather here turned wet,cold and windy on Monday



sew I had to quickly make a new coat for Lacy….



and now the sun has been shining for the past two days……

OFW, Houses and a Nice Parcel….

As we had a long weekend this week I have really lost days. I thought it was Tuesday today… LOL  but no it was Wednesday
and that means I need to post my flower for OFW at Karen's

While I was at my DD2’s looking after the Grandies my builder completed the last three houses,



it is a little sad to think my builder has nearly finished his work…


When I went into town today and checked the mail I was delighted to receive a lovely parcel of goodies from Vickie in Humpty Doo…

Oh No

it’s Wednesday Again. It comes around so quickly but I did finish a flower with Leona's Panda fabric. Do pop over to  One Flower Wednesday  to see other lovely flowers.

The days Fly

by so quickly and before I know it it’s One Flower Wednesday again…



I do love this one…………..


The builder has been busy over the past two weeks… Not only did he get five houses completely finished




he always did the frame work for ALL the other houses.



The village is growing ……..


I am in a special Rug Mug swap and this is the one I made my partner  Linda who received it some time ago but



Linda’s took forever to arrive so I was really pleased it was in my mail box today….




It just gorgeous and far too nice to put my cuppa on. I think it will be hang in the cave…Thank you Linda.

OFW, Houses, Blocks and FNSI……..

After being away for retreat and another quick trip to Perth. I then spent a last week with a bug BUT I am back for



 One Flower Wednesday………



Pleased to see the builder has been working……..



and I did manage to sew my blocks for "Beginner's Quilt- A- Long"

OFW, Houses, Blocks and Packed!!!!

I have just made it for One Flower Wednesday this week as it is nearly Thursday here.

The builder has done well this week. Three more houses to pop in the tin. That makes 59 sew I am about 30 behind……..Seems we need to build faster……

as you can see I am nearly all packed (only need to pop in my  Stitchery) to on retreat on Friday..

Running late….

for One Flower Wednesday after a busy day……..

First I had a beautiful swim this morning .






Returned home to have a shower,



 pack some lunch to go to Patch to join the ladies for some card making.




Had a fun day learning a new craft.......... Thanks Ursula.

My DD1 arrived for a visit not long after I come home. We spent time chatting, playing scrabble and then had a lovely dinner together.

and I am still busy building my houses.

One Flower Wednesday & Last 1800 Kms part 2

Can’t believe it is Wednesday again. The weeks just fly by so fast. As I have been stitching my Hexie Flowers while on our travels, I have more than one to add to my garden.

Last 1800 Kms PART 2.

After we had breakfast and packed up it was time to fuel the car and be on our way home.
It was very foggy but did not take long to lift.


The drive home was beautiful. So many flowers. The tiniest ones made huge felids' of colour.


     









At times it rained and it just made everything look fresh and clean.



I loved this fella on his horse with the little dog.


Getting closer to home we passed farms with paddocks of green wheat



and bright yellow canola.

Just a little way down the highway and around the corner home.

OMG!!!  Just look at the weeds.


Where’s the front driveway ??



and the path is lost too.


Yes we did have a lot of rain while we were away 95 ml. No wonder the weeds took over.


Sun was shining this morning. So the van was unpacked and I washed the bedding ready for another day.
