First Swim and some Finishes.


This morning I went for my first swim this season. It was chilly at first but it did not take long to enjoy the water.

After our swim we went here for brekkie here.

When I returned home I spent some time finishing projects .

  2. Oh Maria, I am soooo envious. You went for your first swim this morning and when I got up at 7:00 a.m., it was 19 degrees!!!!

  9. Lucky you to be swimming. we are in the proccess of painting our pool then we have to wait 7 days for it to dry boohoo.. I would love to be swimming today as it is 38 in my sewing room hahaha... Maria did you receive your swap block from me yet? It was mailed on the 1st Nov xxxx

  11. Good on you with the swim, I have had a wade or two and my toes froze. I love the Christmas bauble block. Great idea to make it like the card - very clever

  13. Okay I am happy YOU got to swim and it is warming up there. But just the thought made me cold as we were 30 F here and had a freeze...;-)

Well I live in Queensland and would you beleive I cant swim Was pushed into A pool In Scotland when I was little And nearly drowned So dont like to get too close to pools.I can paddle at the beach thats it.I love the blue and white Xmas block and card to match its beautiful.Belated Birthday wishes to you.
