It is hard to believe that it has been a week since my last post. Life has been so busy.
After visiting my Kate and Lexie in hospital I drove about 500kms for my retreat in York.
We stay in “The Barn”
and so we have become “The Barn Owls” and these are our banners.
We did a lot of eating , chatting and even managed to do some stitching.
We were woken at 4.45am Sunday by on of the ladies asking us to get up and move our cars as there was a fire in the yard.
Thank goodness for the firemen who responded quickly and put out the flames.
After saying our Goodbyes on Sunday I drove to Perth to stay overnight with my DD2.
I had a great meal and a good nights sleep. Then in the morning it was off home again.
We have some beautiful country to see on the way. At this time of year this tree bursts into flower.
It is called a “Christmas Tree”
I managed to clock up over a 1000 klms and I think I am still getting over it.
1000 km and the drama of a fire. You must be exhausted. Lexie is so sweet.
