I would like to thank Chookyblue for inviting us to display our cross stitches today.
When I decided to join in I did not realise how difficult it is to photograph framed stitcheries.
Here is the result and sorry if they are a bit blurry.
My “Chooks”
I have two more waiting to be done.
Spent many hours stitching
before I started quilting
After looking at all the beautiful work on all the ladies blogs I would like to do some more. If I have the time.
This is the first one I stitched.
It is my favourite as it reminds me of my DD1
when she was that small.
Busy mice that hang on my sewing room door.
Thank you Chooky. I have enjoyed participating in this tour and it is fun blog hopping to see all the lovely work.
I love counted cross stitch. But I can't see to do the stitches anymore, and my fingers don't always want to work the same way.
ReplyDeleteYour work is beautiful!

Very nice stitching! I used to do a lot of cross stitching before I discovered scrapbooking. But then I found quilting and I forgot all about scrapbooking. Now I'm starting to do some cross stitching again.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! It's lovely to see peoples creations too. Maybe we should all join and do a small cross stitch swap or something? Or a pattern swap? I LOVE the one with the little girl on the beach :)
