find my cutting table and chair so I can do some sewing.
But I had a better idea.
I went here
The Chapel Room where our Patchwork group meet to sit and sew.
I joined a few ladies and sat there and stitched.
Will show you what I did in my next post.
NOW I do need to go tidy my sewing room.
I thought I was the only one who let my studio get that way. I always have the best intentions of not letting it happen again; but before I know it, it is a castrophy once more.

My sewing table always looks like that when I am working on a project. Ugh!!! I would prefer to head off to a nice quiet place for sewing as well.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to stitch with your friends. Those quilting fairies should have come and helped tidy your sewing room while you were out.Though I suspect it is not the untidiest sewing room out there.
ReplyDeleteHappy days.

My sewing room is very tiny, so it more often than not looks like a bomb went off in there! I sure wish I had a "sewing group" where I could go to sit and sew with friends! *Sigh* Glad you had a GREAT day!

I'm so glad you went off to Patch.
ReplyDeleteMakes me feel less guilty for not supporting it. I was too lazy to go but I did get McKenna Ryan quilted at home!
You are so lucky to be able to start your day with a walk on the beach! Some day I'll live much closer to the shore - that is my biggest dream. Good luck with the sewing room, when you're finished there you can come clean/organize mine!!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely way to start your day walking on the beach...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see what you made
My sewing room too is great need of a good tidying up.

I don't have a sewing studio, so yours looks wonderful to me!

sometimes the best thing to do is to walk away from the mess! You did the right thing.
ReplyDeleteSitting sewing and chatting with friends beats tidying up anyday...... Hugz
ReplyDeleteI love that beautiful blue sky....lucky you!
