Friday Night Sew In and Craft Show. Part 1

I have just returned from Perth. Some 400kms away. My friend Linda and I spent the weekend there to visit the Craft Show. So as I was not at home for Friday Night Sew In I sat in our room and hand stitched.

The pattern for this cushion cover is on  Dawn's  blog with a short story of Jessica Watson. Our brave Aussie young lady.

Will post again tomorrow about our day at the craft show.

  2. what a cute boat with its flowery sails...and I always love polka dots!
I`m completely amazed about Jessica`s story. My husbands grandparents had a sailing boat and when they retired they sailed around the world too, so we are still very hooked on all things sailing.
Wonderful picture you have put on your header!

  3. Just catching up a bit here, Maria. Your little hand stitching block is so sweet. I can't wait to hear all about the craft show.

Your Round Robin quilt looks beautiful!!! What a fun project.

I received my gorgeous PIF yesterday. It will be absolutely perfect in my sewing room as the room opens up on the back garden. I will post about it on my next blog so everyone can enjoy meeting her. Thank you soooo much. You really do lovely embroidery work.

  5. What a fun sailboat! That is an amazing accomplishment for a young lady! I have copied the directions and will file it away for when I need a special gift.
