I have started!!

Today I finally went into the hall cupborad and got the Xmas boxes off the top shelf.  Here are some of the tiny ones in a row.
                                                        Tiny wall hangs.

Annabel and Frosty sitting up high, my ornament swap hanging on the door.

The little Nativity which I painted many years ago.

Tomorrow I will put up my little tree and hang some tinsel from the ceiling.
Put the fairy lights up around the patio.
Then wait for all the family to arrive. I am sure the littlies will love it and will be anxiously waiting for Santa to comeTo "Oma's and Pops" house.

In's and Out's

After a rather busy week I have managed to finish two projects that are going OUT of the house. I am very pleased with my little Xmas wall hanging that was a freebie from the Gum Tree Designers. Also my tote bag which I have made as my Xmas gift for my Red Hatters Xmas lunch on Saturday.

When I went to check my mail this morning I was delighted to have a little card in my box which means I had something to collect from inside the post office. The lady handed me not one BUT two parcels. My absolutely gorgeous ornament/handmade card swap from Lynda.

Also the giveaway I won from Heidi for joining in her "Friday Night Sewing Night"

Cave Man??

After my computer crashed I lost a lot of my photos and things. But I discovered some CD's in the cupboard so thought I would check them out.

Found this one of  my youngest grandson. My DD2 and family are in Grey Company. A re-enactment group. So dress ups are not unusal in their home .I just love this one and thought I would share it.

Ready to Go

Another gift ready to go in the mail.
I really had fun stitching this "Calender Holder"

Now I can try and get my sewing room in some sort of order.

I seem to have fabric, pattern books, pins and an assortment of other sewing bits and pieces all over the room.

Then I can get back to the boxes on the shelf.

Friday Night Sew In

Well I can't say I achieved what I wanted. Had the machine all set up with my cruise control unit so I could finish quilting a mystery quilt I
started last year. Wanted to do a wavey line across the quilt but it went pear shape and now I need to do some reverse sewing.

Then I decided to make a calender holder I saw on Julia's Place .Was going to start it this afternoon BUT!!!

This is waht I have done so far. Still have a lot of stitching to do before it is finished. Hope to have it in the mail next week.

"Little Mouse"

I really enjoyed this little stitchery which was a freebie from the ladies of Among The Gum Trees .

Isn't the little mouse cute? Putting on the borders and quilting it was my project for today.
Thank you Peg for your great tip.

On a Roll

In each of these boxes are WIP. I am on a roll and have completed three things that were in the small yellow and white box on the left.

I can only show you snippets of these two as they are Xmas presents for some one who might be following my blog.

I can show you the thrid as it is for us. I made this little table runner to sit our Xmas tree on. Also finished the snowman which I started at my DD2's craft group while in Perth.
