FnwFs, RSC and Stay at Home Retreat.

It;s been a busy weekend for me as I joined the ladies from Patch for a Stay at Home Retreat and as it started on the first Friday of the month I also joined Cheryll and my virtual friends to sew-a-long with them....

I worked on my wedding ring blocks and as a leader and ender project made some wee bunnies ...
I saw them on Karen's blog a few weeks ago as she was making them for her market stall.
I made five wedding ring blocks and was over doing them so today I worked on my RSC organised by Angela each month....

This month's are PINK ... My half log cabin blocks.

and my Detectable Mountain ones.

I learnt a good lesson with these. NEVER use directional fabrics.... I'll need to made another now to match.
A big THANK YOU to all the ladies who keep busy all weekend......

Must away and re organise The Cave....

Keep safe and well

Hugs  Maria ❤

  1. I love stay-at-home retreats! Best of both worlds -- lots of sewing, take care of necessary things at home, sew lots more! I really like the Delectable Mountain block with directional fabric. Adds a lot of interest, in my opinion. Have a good weekend!

  2. We always find ways to keep in contact with people and the virtual world is a great way to stay in touch. Love your bunnies, they're very cute and as always your patchwork projects are amazing. I bet you're loving the cooler weather instead of flat out hot. lol. It is still a bit humid but winter will be here soon. xx

  3. You have been working hard with your newly operated wrist! The bunnies are very sweet, and the pink blocks remind me of the RSC challenge: I must find some pink plaids for my 9-patches.

  5. A very productive at home retreat. Nice work on the bunny bags. I decided to use patterned fabric and not decorate the faces. Your faces are very sweet. Directional fabric can be tricky at times.
