I got most of the blocks stippled when hubby came in and asked if I could hem his Aussie Flag before putting it on our flag pole.
Hubby needed a haircut so I got it done before he disappeared into his shed...
Finally I got back to quilting and when I had completed all the blocks started doing the borders by quilting in the ditch of the Flying Geese...Such a slow boring job so only did one side before I gave up for the day....
Must away now and get ready for bed... Part 2 tomorrow.
Happy Easter to all and stay safe.
Hugs Maria ❤
Sounds like you made great progress with your quilting Maria - good luck with the rest of it. xx
ReplyDeletewell .. sewing and hair cuts both involve scissors .. so a good use of your time I would say x
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on quilting both quilts. I can see hot x cross on the kitchen bench....enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHi Maria love your kookaburra and hubby is lucky that you know how to cut hair. It’s always lovely to see your beautiful work, happy Easter 💕🤍💕
ReplyDeleteYou are making good progress with your quilting...hope you are having a lovely Easter...
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that you've been able to get back to your machine after a bit of a break. Great that you had a most of Friday to make really good progress on your quilt. Husbands and their demands - neat that you were able to fulfil both requests though!!
ReplyDeleteYou did well to get through the stippling bits - yes the ditch stuff is boring.
ReplyDeleteHandy to have a spare machine ready to do such trivial jobs!
I love your kookaburra Maria. xx
ReplyDeleteWell done with the quilting..... and the mending... and the haircut! phew...
ReplyDeleteHugz
Not bad for just one day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a successful day, getting lots done. Well done with the quilting, if I had to do it on my domestic machine, I don't think they would get done at all.
