The first Friday of October has sneaked up on us so it was time to join Cheryll for FnwFs.........
As my WOOFA project was still under the machine spent time doing more quilting....
After a few hours of pushing and pulling the quilt through the machine I gave up and made some Soap Sacks to put in the parcel for Jan Mac.. Nice quick and easy sewing....Then to finish off the evening I sat and completed the crochet around another block....
Thanks Cheryll for organising us for another FnwFs,,,,,,
Must away and pop on the kettle...
Keep safe and well
Hugs Maria ❤
Your crocheted block is looking pretty. Sweet soap sacks.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good idea to take a break from quilting and do something else for a while. Otherwise you kill your shoulders!
ReplyDeleteA nice variety of projects.

ReplyDeleteA very productive time for you.... well done.
ReplyDeleteMachine quilting on a domestic machine is definitely a chore at times. The quilt you've got in there is gorgeous!! I will have to go back over your posts to see it full out.
ReplyDeleteYour crocheted block is fantastic. The stitches look so flat and perfect. Cute little soap sacks too. Like you, I can only machine quilt for a little while before my shoulders tighten up on me.
