I seem to have been all over the place the past week and a half.... this is what my cutting table looked like as I worked on many different projects...
I made 4 " Aussie Hero " blocks called "Pathways"
at the same time I sewed some of these blocks to go on the next Row by Row I'm in at Patch...The lady requested "Scrappy" so I think these fit well....
Also for Patch we were all asked to make 6 X 6 1/2" Wonky Star blocks which will be made into our raffle quilt...
I just wasn't happy with them...they didn't look right??
I soon found out what I did wrong when I saw all the others ... I took them home to do some reverse sewing and now they'er right..Also sandwiched , pinned and quilted this baby quilt which is a community one our group will donate...
Then I mended hubby's Aussie Flag quilt AGAIN..... he just doesn't what to part with it.......Really! it needs to be replaced but I said I'd patch it one more time !!!!
Now I'm all caught up I'm ready to do some fun sewing so I have joined Wendy for FNSI. I always enjoy sewing along with our virtual friends so don't forget to join in the fun over HERE ....
Must away and get ready to go bed.....
Keep well and I hope you get time to stitch,
Hugs Maria ❤

ReplyDeleteA cutting table is never big enough - they seem to be a magnet for all sort of "Stuff"!!!
I liked the wonky stars with white centers as well but naturally they would have looked odd with others in blue.Patched and mended quilts are loved, and that is a great thank you for the one who made the quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love reading that other quilters have several projects going at a time. It certainly sounds like me.
ReplyDeleteThose spiderweb looking blocks are so darn cute!
