I always enjoy these nights as I get organised to work on a project with all the other ladies...
This week I got out my stash and sorted through some fabrics to start "Trail Mix"
cut up a pile of squares etc ready to sew ..
After making the first few blocks I wasn't sure if I liked the way it looked ?????
Just TOO scrappy ????
I'm not sewing the blocks together yet as I can see I'll be swapping some around ....
This morning I got out the step ladder and moved the blocks higher on the design wall .Of course I swapped some and the top right hand corner one I decided needs some adjustments....
I must away now , have some lunch, check out some ladies blogs HERE and get back to sewing...... I think I'm hooked...

Wow you have made a good start, I can see the pattern forming. I was worried that my interpretation may end up being too scrappy. I'll watch your for a while.

ReplyDeleteI've just started making Trail Mix too, as a scrappy project to do in between other things. Mine will be a donation quilt when it is done. I'll be interested to watch yours developing.
