Perfectly Pleasing Pincushion Parade 2020

When I read that Ida from My Sister Made Me Do It... was organising the Perfectly Pleasing Pincushion Parade again for 2020 I decided it would be fun to join in ..

As it's been three years since the last PPPP I'll show my pincushions of old , which I still have ....
Some are for show and sit on my corner shelf,

Others I use everyday I when I'm machine sewing..

There are pincushions that hang next to my chair for when I'm hand sewing made by Christine in a swap many years ago,
another lives near my sewing machine made by Jan a lady from Patch,

These two are handy as I use them to only hold my needles....

and here are some new ones .
1st is one I made form a lovely siggy swap block from Helen.

Next a cute little set made by Sandi , they come in handy to pop into my bag when going to an appointment...

and I made this one for the parade ,
liked the idea of popping in the pair of scissors .....

Thanks Ida for organising the parade this year and also all the fabulous sponcers.....

Must away to pop some of my favorite oldies in my header....

Happy sewing and stay safe...

Hugs  Maria ❤

  11. Your pincushions are beautiful and you have such a variety. Isn’t it funny how we always remember where or how we received or made our pincushions? I love your Parade and loved reading about them. What fun!

  20. Hi María,
I was just visiting you via Ida’s blog/WOOFA link, and realised I didn’t visit you for the Perfectly Pleasing Pincushion Parade! I’m so sorry, I thought I visited everyone but I must have missed you.
Wow, you have so many lovely pincushions! It’s amazing how we can always make room for yet another pincushion, isn’t it! I love all of your pincushions but especially the patchwork ones! I’d love to have a corner shelf like yours, but I don’t have just the right place for it!
I like your new one too, it’s handy to pop your scissors in ..... I have a couple like that from swaps last year.
Nice to catch up with you, perhaps you’d like to see my pincushions too?
