We got as far as Bunbury and had two sunny days before the rough weather come in... It was windy, poured rain and freezing.. Our dear little old van ( she's a 1977 Model ) sprung a few leaks so we decided to head home.
We were pleased to have visited a few sights , first the Dolphin Discovery Centre,
Love their Lighthouse...
and visited this huge lookout, thousands of steps....
and drove to "Gnomesville" ... Many years ago someone put a Gnome there and over the years folk from all over have added to it...There are Gnomes as far as you can see..
I took PUD a gnome I painted many years ago to join all the others...
In the evenings I glued some hexies
Which I stitched in the car while navigating for hubby..
Thats it for now and don't forget that it's to sign up for FnwFs.. Even though Cheryll is away she still kindly puts up her linky for us to enjoy our FnwFs so don't forget to pop over HERE to sign up..
Must away to get ready for Building Better Bones exercise class. 😒
Happy Stitching
Hugs Maria 😊

ReplyDeleteI've never seen "Gnomesville" before. That's amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to have a break away and see some different sights. Is your van fixable? "See you" tonight.
ReplyDeleteSome lovely sights on your trip - hexies are great car sewing.
ReplyDeleteToo bad your trip ended so short. You have chosen pretty colours for the hexies!
ReplyDeleteI love road trips. Don’t get to go very often anymore so it’s nice to be included in yours! Sorry your trip was cut short. I enjoyed your pictures and seeing a little of your corner of the world.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to add a gnome ….pity about the weather shortening your trip... hopefully you can go and see some of the ones you missed sometime soon... Great hexies for in the car...
