FnwFs and "Bloom" Blocks

After a long day in Geraldton it was nice to sit and sew along with Cheryll and friends for FnwFs and I  managed to put together  2 more blocks for my " Bloom" SAL also with Cheryll ....

As well as putting on the sashing... I have decided to only do one row of sashing between blocks as I'm using strong primary colours and think two rows of sashing will take away from the "Blooms"

Thank you Cheryll for a fun night of sewing...I'll enjoy visiting HERE to see what others have made.

Happy Stitching

  1. Your Bloom is looking brilliant! You are zooming ahead. I like your single row of sashing. I'm still considering a few sashing options.

  11. Very beautiful blocks! I think that's a great idea to only single-sash (is that an actual term? HAHA!).

  16. It's so lovely and makes me smile and think of spring. AND our sun was out today and is helping to melt the snow...all good. Agree with your logic. Flowers are very pretty, don't want to detract from them being the focal point.
