Retreat, FNSI, Threadology , Bloom and More.........

What a fun filled weekend ..  DD arrived about 1pm on Friday sew we were able to sit and have a nice cuppa and chat before heading off to our retreat.....It was fabulous to join Wendy and my online friends for FNSI as well as my Patch ladies and DD...

after setting up in the hall I got to work sewing my No 8 Sunday Stitchers Challenge the   "Pinata"   blocks which took till Saturday morning ....

Next the Bloom Blocks organised by Cheryll for the Bloom Block Party......

as I had prepared the blocks ready for applique and had plenty of time I did four and joined them onto the top row.

Today with help of  DD and friends I got my  Pinata flimsy sandwiched and pinned ready to quilt...
as well as doing the second set of blocks for Threadology

One large and four small 9 Patch blocks..... I do hope there are no mistakes this week....

After a very busy weekend sewing chatting and eating plenty of food it's time to THANK ALL the ladies who organised the retreat weekend.    WENDY  for FNSI ,   Cheryll  for The Bloomers Party and the  SAL with the Fat Quarter Shop for Threadology......

Must away now to put my feet up and relax...

Happy Stitching ...

Hugz  Maria 😄

  13. Wow! You got a lot done! I left for retreat on THursday and returned earlier today (Sunday). I got a couple of small tops made, and then spent 2 1/2 days working on my Lynette project. I have one seam left to sew. Pics to follow!

  19. Hi Maria, yoo-hoo remember me?! Yes it's been a long time since I visited your blog, my friend, and as always I love to see what you're up to.
Oh the Bloom quilt, it's just so pretty and your progress is great, well done.
Pinata is going to be a cheery finish, & Threadology is looking wonderful.
Your retreats are always productive, good to take advantage of the time to devote to the sewing... and the social time too!
