only have the last borders to put onto the Christmas Quilt after joining Wendy for our last FNSI.
Thank you Wendy for another year of enjoyable FNSIs , look forward to joining you again next year.
My DD challenged me to make a Christmas quilt from the fabrics in my stash LAST year.. (2017)
but I don't think it will be quilted and finished till next year.. ( I hope )
Must away and pop the kettle on for a cuppa...
Happy Stitching
Hugz Maria 😘
Just think you will have an early finish for next year's Christmas. Very pretty from what I can see.
ReplyDeleteRead a little bit ago on another blog how this one gal loves sewing a Christmas quilt together in December. Then has the time to get it quilted and has a new Christmas quilt the next year. She says she's been doing it for several years now. Looks like you may have accidentally joined her show! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeletewhatever year you get it done, it will be fabulous! My Christmas tree bee quilt is in pieces on my design wall. It brings me joy to walk past and see those beautiful trees! Like wall art? I hope to have it together to use next year too
ReplyDeleteHi Maria so close cant wait to see this finished,Merry Xmas my friend xx
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to be able to use one's scraps. I'm trying to do that with my Good Fortune quilt. I'm looking forward to seeing your completed top. Merry Christmas to you and your family, Maria.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your Christmas quilt!
ReplyDeleteYou'll be way ahead of the game for next year! I don't have a large stash, but I'm always excited when I can make something without shopping. Today, it was a doll quilt for a good cause. Merry Christmas!!
