Relaxing at Retreat....Part 1

Last week I was busy cutting projects ready to take to our annual Retreat at Avalon in Toodyay.

I like the Emus in the Everlasting garden ...

Early mornings are very cold and there's usually a thick fog.

Perfect weather to be inside and keep busy sewing.....

and our lovely member Val  (centre) even got her huge flimsy ready to pin...

with the help of Vicki , Allison and Jenny ( on table).. and I cant believe that Val got the quilting completed...

Well must away to do some more sewing but will show you what ladies have been working on tomorrow.

Happy Stitching

  3. I have never been on a retreat. How nice to get many hands to help and pin a quilt, it is my least favourite part of making a quilt.
