First FnwFs for the Year...

It's the start of the year and the first Friday night of the month sew time to sit and sew along with Cheryll and friends for FnwFs...

For the past few weeks I've only been working on Bonnie Hunter's Mystery On Ringo Lake and I don't seam to be getting anywhere. Sew I decided to do something different for FnwFs .. Thought I'd have fun playing with some Dinosaurs..

Went through my stash and found some nice bright fabrics. Then traced the Dino onto some visoflex.
Ironed onto the fabric and Taa Dahhh....

First one appliqued on ready for the details....

Thank you Cheryll for a fun night of sewing and I'll visit the others HERE over the weekend to see what you've been making...

Happy Stitching.

Hugz  Maria :)

  4. Maria, it's good to have a change of pace. He is very cute.. I'm not sure when I'll do some more mystery. It's laid out on the table. It will happen one day as I'm sure yours will too.

  11. That s so cool! Sounds like a much easier way to trace onto the visoflex rather than the fabric - I'll be doing this next time!!!

  14. The dinosaur is adorable. I like to have a fun project going at the same time as a long term project. I really need to let my brain switch gears or I tend to get burned out. Bonnie Hunter's mysteries can be tedious.

  15. I can understand that you'd want a break from the Bonnie mystery, Maria... they are a lot of work in a short period of time.
    Great start on your dinosaur!

  16. He is adorable. Are these pages from maybe a coloring book? If this is a pattern I sure would like to know which one and the number. And the monster one in your banner is just as cute. I do baby quilting but these want me to grow into toddler ones as well. I'm so into "cute" right now.
