on the corner of the Block..
Looking from the back verandah....
Then I settled down to the fun....
First I completed the Secret Sewing....
Then I went digging through my coulourful fabrics to make my youngest GGs "Peter" his Santa Sack....
Thanks Toni from Red Boot Quilt Company for another Funky pattern... Love them all....
while lots of brights were lying around I thought I'd make this basket. When the Great Granndies call in they love playing with my empty cotton reels and I've wanted to make a basket to put them all in...
also thought I'd make a pencil case with a piece of old tape measure cut and popped into the top...
Had never tried that and it worked out okay.
I was happy with it....
Thank you sew much Wendy for another fun filled night of sewing along with you and all my virtual friends....Will pop over and visit you all over the weekend BUT I have just downloaded the
"First Installment" of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery "Ringo Lake" and I must away to tidy the Cave and make a start.......
Happy Stitching
Hugz Maria :)
Happy stitching the mystery. Good work last night. When you make the tape measure bags which way do you put the tape.

ReplyDeleteYou did have fun stitching away for FNSI. I love the spool basket. Did you have a pattern for it? The Santa Sack is so cute too. I have not tried the measuring tape bags, but I have several of them. They are really handy. That is a gorgeous sunset too.
