Our Patch Group hire a hall locally from Friday to Sunday... We get to sit and stitch all day because we hire a fantastic lady to cater for us.... Morning tea, lunch afternoon tea and dinner BUT we go home each night to sleep in our own beds....Back again after brekky.. How good is that...

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your fully catered retreat weekend - and going home to sleep in your own beds would certainly suit me fine. No worries about disturbing anyone if I had to get up a couple (or ore) times during the night! And sadly - some of us do snore - but we can't help it and don't even know it's happening. So no worries about that either. Have a great weekend, and enjoy your stitching, eating, sharing

ReplyDeleteHow fun! We have a group who has talked about doing a retreat like that, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe next Spring. I don't know if I'll get any sewing done tonight or not, so I went down and cut some fabric this morning. Have fun!!
