Theme Rooms

I am still in the big smoke supervising two teenage grandies and I can't believe it's Friday again..
Have been meaning to post our Display Theme Rooms for over a week BUT !!!!!

As you entered Allison and Deb had the "Great Outdoors" display...

Avery's "Stitchery" display was lovely. It shows folk we not only make quilts but work on many other projects ....

Di and Teena's " Christmas" display is always sew much fun, especially for the kids that come to visit...

Ros and her wonderful helpers did am amazing display of "Sewing through Time". they sourced beautiful old things from our Historical Museum right through to many of Sadies great modern sewing machines.

Narelle's " Beach" theme looked fabulous... with a boat and cray pot included.

This year we also did a Community display to let folks know some of the work we do for others...

The Dog and Cat quilts in the background were put together with blocks all our members made. During the day we sewed a Jelly Roll quilt to add to our box of quilts to gift....

It is surprising the amount of gear that is carted into the Rec centre by our small group with the help of partners and family for all these displays and the quilt hanging
Also the organising that Helen does for the catering and her wonderful team of ladies who keep the kitchen running all day to supply food and drinks .  and then there is Chef Linda who cooks fresh scones sew they can severed warm with homemade jam and a nice cuppa....

HUGE THANK YOU ALL..........
