July FnwFs

I joined Cheryll and friends for FnwFs while in the big smoke visiting my DD.. It is always extra special when I can sew along with DD as well as well as my virtual friends...

First I made blocks for Aussie Hero's.....

then finished stitching the Hexies for my SS block and did some stitching on my basket too..

DD worked on this.....

hope all had a great weekend stitching and I enjoy reading what you did HERE over the next few days...

Hugz  Maria  :)

  7. Great projects--and isn't family time great--got to see my little brother and his wife Valarie yesterday with my 2 kids and we all went to lunch and then came back here for awhile--my brother lives about 2-3 hours from here and I had hoped to see him more often living so much closer to him, but hasn't worked out yet--but we had a great time yesterday--I do miss having someone to quilt with--my daughter is not into sewing!!
    love and laughter, di

  8. How fun to sew with DD. My stitching friend is away for over a week, so I'm all alone...in the sewing room that is. Great job on your blocks.
