Double FnwFs ….

Last night I got all the essentials organised early ready to stitch along with Cheryll and others for FnwFs…..

First I wanted to make the block for my  partner in the  Aussie Block Swap.  She chose a “Texas Star”….  I didn't realise it would take all night….Lots of reverse sewing and No 1 going in the bin. I finished one BUT I am still not happy..

Sew tonight I decided to join the ladies in the Northern Hemisphere and just do some hand sewing….

Have completed my first block for May in Chooky’s  SAL.   Sew relaxing and there was a soppy movie on too “Dear John”….
Thank you Cheryll and I will be seeing what others have sewn for FnwFs soon..

    OMG Maria, I watched some of that Dear John too - terrible! But there's not many options on a Sat night, is there?!
    The block looks fine, I'm sure your recipient will love it...

    Sometimes what looks like an easy block is the hardest.mi have dear John on DVD. Might watch it today when I'm in my sewing room

    great blocks.... I don't think I have seen that movie... the new NJ block looks fiddly ... I better get started soon!

    Your blocks look great - but would be tricky to make. I saw some of the movie too - probably would have continued watching if I had had something to knit too.

    It's so frustrating when for whatever reason the things we are sewing just don't want to cooperate. Glad you had a much better night when you joined us in the Northern Hemisphere for a second night of stitching.
