This week I haven’t stitched a flower to add to my garden but did these instead..
They are the stitchery stepping stones for my Vignette Hexagon Quilt I started sooo long ago..
thanks to Karen at OFW I still keep plodding along with my hexie projects. So far I am the only one who has signed in HERE. Do pop over in sign in too………..
Today my Blue and Yellow Swap Block from Carmen arrived along with some lovely goodies……
Thanks Carmen for my great block……
Hugz Maria…….
Maria the Vignette Hexy Quilt is a labour of love for most who make it, hang in there...
ReplyDeleteLovely mail, the best sort! x
That stitchery is going to be beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYellow and blue is one of my favorite color combinations.
Those stepping stones look interesting. Are they embroidered?
ReplyDeleteoh that vignette hexy quilt will be so lovely! Good for you plugging away
ReplyDeleteNeat to see this resurfacing - the vignette quilts I've seen are so lovely - happy stitching!!! Cool swap block!
ReplyDeleteI didn't do the embroidered fillers for my Vingette quilt because it wouldn't have suited the fabric range I used. Keep going as it is so worth it. Mine might get quilted after I finish doing Grace's puff quilt.
ReplyDeleteKeep in there with Vignette hexie. I traced out the stepping stone when i first got the pattern & they are waiting patiently for me. I think i have less then 30 blooms left to make & then i can start the stepping stone embroidery. So i know how you feel. :) Hugs,xx
ReplyDeleteThose stepping stones will be so pretty. Keep going Maria. I think this is meant to be a long term project.
ReplyDeleteYour stepping stones are such cute little ones. Well done and keep going even if you are the only one still displaying! :)
ReplyDeleteThat block is beautiful. Your hexies are accumulating. The embroidered ones are pretty.
