Learning to Quilt???
Today was spent in the company of my Patch friends learning to free motion quilt.
Our lovely teacher was Pauline who travels all over Aussie with her DH.
It was amazing how quickly Pauline taught us to quilt in a straight line with our feed dogs down. Well pretty straight.
Then onto mazes, squares, triangles, waves and sort of circles. My ended up looking more like an apple and peach so I gave them a stem.
It was a long day as I left home at 8.30am and arrived home at 6pm. I had lots of fun and learnt a lot.
When I got home my DH had prepared dinner so that was lovely.
So nice to sit, relax and enjoy my meal.

ReplyDeleteO LUCKY GIRL! What a wonderful experience! I remember two years ago when one of the local quilt shops let me help them make Christmas Ornaments -using all of their supplies -they had a big machine that you could do that on and she let me play on it -even through she knew I would never have enough money for anything like that! I was so honored!
