Made it.

Finally completed our #1 Challenge with Deana for the Chookshed Challenge

My #1 was to make up all my sets of four hexies into a flimsy for a baby quilt and I made it . 

I’m not sure how I will sandwich and quilt it but that’s for another day. 

Did a close up to get the idea of the colour and the embroidered hexies.

Thank you Deana for the push each month and I look forward to the next No.

Must and organise dinner.

The week that was!

I spent many hours sitting outside on the patio in the sun stitching my #1 challenge. ( nearly done ).

Finished cutting all the pieces for hubby’s quilt and bagged it up ready to put in my retreat box.

 

Also spent some time tidying the cupboard in the Cave and found a lonely Churn Dash block , pieces of wadding ( which I joined) and made a bag. 

I’ll donate it for the raffle they do at croquet each week.

Must away now and do housework 🤨
