The week that was!

I spent many hours sitting outside on the patio in the sun stitching my #1 challenge. ( nearly done ).

Finished cutting all the pieces for hubby’s quilt and bagged it up ready to put in my retreat box.

Also spent some time tidying the cupboard in the Cave and found a lonely Churn Dash block , pieces of wadding ( which I joined) and made a bag.
I’ll donate it for the raffle they do at croquet each week.

Must away now and do housework 🤨

Happy Stitching,

Hugs Maria 💖

  4. Those hexies are coming along nicely. Looks like your hubby is going to get a lovely quilt. This should be fun to work on at the retreat. Love what you did with the churn dash block. Enjoy your weekend, Maria.

  5. Can't wait to see the 'other' side of the hexie project-- and it's always nice to do a clean up--and what a neat idea for finishing up a single quilt block!!
I am ready to get back to a normal life and some actual sewing--maybe by next week--hope!!!!

  12. No, no housework. Just enjoy sewing instead. If you really prefer to clean, please come to my house.
You have really been hand stitching away this month. I think July was a hand stitching month for many of us. You have done so much!!
