Slowly catching up on things and posting my RSC blocks ...
ORANGE was this month's colour and again I found it difficult to find enough in my stash for the big "I Spy" block . As I was in Perth I did find enough to make a nice block even though they weren't all scraps .....
and I also got the 5 1/2" X 3 1/2" blocks made.
Okay after at least 6 attepts at down loading the photos I'm going to press publish ........
Must away and make a cupps tea!
I think it's ok to cheat on some of the colours.
ReplyDeleteNot many of us seem to have a lot of orange fabric, you've done great finding enough for your blocks.
ReplyDeleteThe blocks look lovely. Bright & cheery. I hope we both have lots of fabrics for next months colour.
ReplyDeleteLots of orange there.
ReplyDeleteNice blocks, it is frustrating when things don't work as they should!
ReplyDeleteNice orange blocks, I wonder what will be next. xx
ReplyDeleteLooking good - and a week to spare . . almost . . .LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't have much orange in my scraps either - or my stash! I have cut up enough for my blocks but not got to sewing them.... your blocks are great and no mistaking the orange...

The only oranges I have are a stack ready to make a jack-o-lantern quilt out of. I am not sure when I will get started on that one.
ReplyDeleteNice blocks! I always admire the way you manage to make your Rainbow quilts so pretty and balanced. These block will find their perfect place at the end of the challenge.
ReplyDeleteThe orange looks so nice. It’s a color that I would have no problem finding in my stash as I find myself attracted to orange fabrics. I really like that second block. Great job keeping up on the monthly blocks.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous blocks - so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteThink I have a lot of orange, but probably not kid related.
