Catching up..

After finishing all the Socialite Blocks  I was left with a bag of  HST of cuts.

Was sad with so much waste SO I sewed some together . They turned into tiny HSTs

Which I made into a small Moda Love Block measuring 71/2" .

I've also been doing some slow hand stitching on my Laundry Basket quilt.

and was pleased to also sandwich and pin "Who's at the Zoo"
Wonder when I'll get round to doing the quilting because I have had one pinned now since January 2022 . 😉

Well I must away now and go to bed....

Happy Stitching

Hugs  Maria ❤

  1. Love the block you made from the little HST's--I have some bags of those from different projects!! And slow stitching project is looking delightful and watch out for those Zoo animals--keep them caged up--how sweet they are!!

  2. First comment disappeared so I'm trying again. I dont have the patience with such tiny pieces so would put them in the rubbish bin! Love the look of your zoo quilt.

  7. Your mini is just gorgeous... and I love that all those pieces were not wasted.... I have some random HST's around and that would be a great way to use them. love the look of the applique... it looks like you are doing it over quilted piece... looks so effective.... haha... you will quilt when you run out of pins... (or maybe you just send off for another box)

  8. Great way to use the HST. Laundry basket looks lovely in the blues. I think Fiona could be right "you will quilt when you run out of pins...:"

lovely seeing your blue Laundry basket quilt.
Cant wait to see your who's who quilt finished. I am up to the snake and need to prep some more blocks. The triangles on the snake have stalled me a bit lol
