In the midst of the chaos I was working through a list of things I wanted to get done ........
First the tea towels for my swap.....Done and I'm happy to have popped them in the post....
Next the blocks for Aussie Hero's and they have also been posted..
I wanted to get the border on the Down Under flimsy so I can get it off the design wall.....
It sure took a lot of time because I decided to change it from the original one...
Really made me appreciate the math Toni does to make all the gorgeous borders for her quilts.......
It was time to for a backing and I was great to find this one in my cupboard.
While I was on a roll I cut the wadding. Packed the flimsy, backing ,wadding and pins into a bag and down to the Patch club room to sandwich and pin the quilt........ it makes easier when there a four big tables to do the job on and not a sewing day.....
Ready to be quilted ?????????
The reason for getting these projects out of the way is because I really wanted to make a couple of bags for
There's been a Jelly Roll waiting for a special project and this was it..
It's such a great cause and I am pleased to have finished two bags and filled each one so I can deliver them tomorrow.....
Oh!! Nearly forgot . I also got another spider web block made as a leader and ender for the Row by Row between projects...FNSI with Wendy this Friday .
Do pop over so you can sign up and met her gorgeous Grandson Ryker....
Take care and Happy stitching
Hugs Maria ❤
