Lovely Day ending with FnwFs

 On Thursday afternoon we had a lovely surprise visit from our DD 1 who arrived from the big smoke just for my BD......We went out for dinner and in the morning a beautiful walk along the beach

Coffee and cake afterwards with lots chatting,

then it was time for DD1 to get in the car for her 4 hr drive home..

 


so I got an early start on sewing for FnwFs ...  It was great to complete the quilting for Patch's Black and White challenge , even got the binding ready to sew on ......

Sorry can't show you as our reveal is at our Christmas dinner on Dec 2nd......

 
Later I had fun going through my stash to find some favorite pieces of fabric to sew onto some tea towels for my swap.......
Oh! I also got the binding sewn onto the BW quilt....
 

I had a great BD with the surprise visit and then sewing along with Cheryll and my friends....do pop over HERE to see what we've all worked on
