Catching Up..... RSC blocks, Aussie Hero and others...

I've meant to do a post over a week ago BUT !!!!! didn't happen...I think that the weeks go Monday -Friday now as the days just slip by...

Anyway I'm happy we are finally going for our morning dip again ,

here the ladies are going to fill their little buckets so we can wash our feet before getting into our cars....

A few weeks ago the Patch ladies went to Greenough Cafe  for a sewing day...

It was lovely to just sit , chat and be severed both our morning tea and lunch. while we sewed, crocheted or knitted.

I did some secret sewing ....

I have also been working on some more of Lynette Anderson's Farm blocks...

as well as Aussie Hero Blocks,

and the last colour for the RSC Blocks....

Now I have 20  X 10 1/2" blocks and need to work out how to make them into a quilt on point ???

Now I must away and sew some more shields as it's the "Days for Girls" meeting tomorrow....

Have a happy and safe week,

Hugs  Maria ❤

  3. I think we all miss the days when we could get together with our friends and not have to worry about COVID19........our retired members from work met on the 1st Wednesday of the month for breakfast, 3 of my former work buddies met often for dinner and I miss it! Your new blocks are lovely. I love on point layouts...your Sister blocks (nun blocks?) will make such a pretty quilt. I like the use of a solid block in between or sashing but I know whatever you do will be perfect.

  5. Always so busy, everything is wonderful! The beach and a morning swim must be energizing, especially after winter's cold.

  6. Swimming, and meeting in a cafe again. Isn't it nice that you and your friends can do these things again. But I understand that inter state travel is still prohibited?

  15. Love your Sisters blocks and looking forward to seeing them in a quilt. Do you have a computer design programme to help work out how to put them together?? Good that you can get together for stitching days, our group is back, but I have been too preoccupied with other things lately.
