The week that was and OPAM finishes for October.

Last week was a crazy week with a trip to the big smoke for GS2s graduation from High School. I hadn't been there since last December so it was great to see DD and family. catch up with my sister as well as some shopping.

As it's nearly the end of October and I have another busy week I thought I'd post my finishes for the wonderful KRIS for OPAM who keeps us going to have some finishes each month.. Thanks heaps ❤

It was great to finally finish my Christmas Swap . The stitcheries were designed by 12 of our wonderful designers which we could download for free on Facebook at Love and Hugs Group

Huge thank you to all the designers for their time to do these beautiful designs...

After seeing Fiona's  lovely top she made on her post  I decided to try and make a top myself with the fabrics I had stashed in a draw. Defiantly not as pretty as Fiona's but I'll get some nicer fabric for the next one..

Over this weekend I made a baby quilt ready to take to a "Baby Shower"  this afternoon.

Must away now and have some brekky before my morning dip....

Happy stitching and stay safe.

Hugs  Maria ❤

  14. Your stitcheries turned out lovely!! I'm just now finishing the original set, so I didn't attempt the Christmas patterns. And now you're making clothing! How awesome is that. I never liked sewing clothing, so I only attempt quilts!!

  15. How sweet all the swap stitcheries look on your bunting and a nice baby quilt for the shower too. I used to sew clothing until it got less expensive to buy ready made....
